Peninsula Br. 62 is in a very unique position of having three generations of the same family volunteering at the Legion. Jo Burke, a member of the Peninsula Br. 62 Ladies Auxiliary, has been volunteering with the Auxiliary and Branch for many years at various functions such as dinners, receptions, brunches, Canada Day, Remembrance Day Poppy Campaign etc. For the past few years Jo's daughter, Tracey Burke, has also been helping out at Brunches and dinners put on at the Branch. Most recently, for the last two years Jo's granddaughter Torie Burke, who lives in Johnville, NB with her parents Mel and Sherry, has been helping out at the Brunches when she is down on the Peninsula visiting family. Congratulations Torie, you are setting a great example for your generation to follow!
